About Me

Hi! I’m Jaime, and I’m so glad you’re here!

First and foremost, I’m a Daughter of the King. I Live in California with my husband, three kids, and cat, Potato (because apparently, she looks like a potato). I love food and movies. Going to the theatre with some popcorn and crunch-a-bunch is a favorite pastime. I am a moody, chocolate-loving, nail-biting ambivert who loves napping. Driving down country backroads in my minivan with windows down and music blaring is how I decompress, along with my noise-canceling headphones (not while driving, of course). I love Jesus and people.

What you can expect from me.

Vulnerability, honesty, and boldness in everyday struggles. Normalizing the feelings and thoughts that shape the human experience while showing what it looks like to live under the authority of the Holy Spirit and how it plays out in the life of a believer.

Why the name Mangled Masterpieces?

Our identities have been shaped and influenced by the world we’ve grown up in and the people in it, often resulting in distorted views of self and varying degrees of damage and hurt. “Mangled” represents the broken parts that have dictated and defined our identity. “Masterpieces” refers to how God sees us. Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are God’s masterpieces, made new because of Jesus, doing the good things he planned for us long ago. This means that we are God’s most treasured creation and we have a purpose. Seeing ourselves through a biblical lens, we understand who we are and become clear about our purpose. We see our struggles as sanctifying opportunities, knowing that God can take the broken pieces of our lives and make something beautiful, for His purposes and glory.

My Goal

I want you to be comfortable with who God created you to be, looking at your strengths and weaknesses as gifts, knowing that they don’t define you. I want you to have a firm, unwavering understanding and foundation of identity in Christ. For you to be able to identify and separate the falsities of this world that have shaped your sense of self from the truth of God’s Word. To be the best version of yourself and live the life God has called you to.
